Introduction

Evergreen Rifle Ammunition is a Danish manufacturer of high-performance, NATO-standard small-arms ammunition[1][2]. Founded in 2021 as a private startup, it emphasizes “quality ammunition made in Denmark” and positions itself as a niche supplier to European forces[2][1]. The company highlights secure domestic supply chains for calibers used by infantry, special forces, and police. Its stated mission is to enhance the security of supply for NATO’s European forces[2]. In the current environment, European governments have underscored ammunition shortages. For example, Sweden, Norway and Denmark collectively pledged $500 million to a NATO-led arms package, acknowledging that Europe “can’t deliver [ammunition] in sufficient quantity” on its own[3]. Denmark’s own minister remarked that restarting local ammo production “will make a difference to the security of supply for Denmark, the Nordic region and Europe”[4]. Evergreen’s emergence in Denmark can therefore be seen as part of this broader strategic push for European defense autonomy. The analysis below (subscriber-only content) will detail Evergreen’s corporate identity, technology capabilities, program engagement, and strategic value to EU/NATO objectives.
