Spartaqs Sp. z o.o. is a Polish deep-tech company (headquartered in Katowice) that designs and builds “dronoids” – multi-domain unmanned platforms for air, sea, and ground operations. Its product line includes modular UAVs (for transport, reconnaissance and countermeasures), underwater drones (e.g. DeepGuard), and specialized systems (like fire-fighting UAVs and anti-drone laser platforms). The company emphasizes “Safety without compromise,” aiming to blend innovative autonomy with redundant safety systems in challenging environments[1][2]. In the context of Europe’s drive for strategic autonomy, Spartaqs seeks to offer a homegrown alternative to foreign drone systems. By using domestically sourced materials (e.g. Polish carbon-fiber composites)[3], Spartaqs contributes to reducing reliance on non-allied suppliers – a priority highlighted in EU policy discussions on China-dependence[4][5]. This report examines Spartaqs’ technology portfolio, readiness levels, program engagements and partnerships through the lens of EU/NATO strategy. It assesses how the company’s capabilities align with European deterrence and resilience goals, and identifies gaps (such as advanced AI/ML integration and critical electronics sourcing) that could hinder full interoperability and supply-chain security.
