Spaceflux is a UK-based deep-tech startup specializing in space domain awareness through a global optical telescope network and AI analytics. Founded in 2022 in London, Spaceflux has quickly gained recognition for its real-time satellite and debris tracking services. The company’s proprietary platform and sensor network deliver high-precision data across Low Earth Orbit (LEO) through Geostationary Orbit (GEO), including novel capabilities like daytime tracking using short-wave infrared (SWIR) sensors[1][2]. By offering “sovereign-grade” situational awareness, Spaceflux aims to make space safer and reduce reliance on non-allied providers of orbital surveillance. Its recent contracts with UK Space Command and the UK Space Agency – including the Cyprus-based Project NYX Alpha observatory – underscore its role as a trusted partner in allied space security[3][4]. As Spaceflux expands into Europe (with a new Italian branch in Venice) and engages with EU and NATO stakeholders, its innovative approach to Space Situational Awareness (SSA) addresses key gaps in Europe’s strategic autonomy. This report examines Spaceflux’s corporate structure, technology portfolio, and strategic alignment with EU/NATO objectives, assessing its impact on deterrence, interoperability, and supply chain resilience in the space domain.
