Quaisr is a UK-based deep-tech startup spun out of Imperial College London and the Alan Turing Institute in 2020[1]. It offers a software platform for digital twins of engineering processes, combining machine learning, simulation integration and cloud deployment. By linking data, AI and simulations, Quaisr aims to accelerate the discovery of new materials and optimize complex industrial systems[2][3]. Such capabilities could be of interest to defence and aerospace sectors, where rapid innovation in materials and processes is a priority. This analysis examines Quaisr’s profile from the perspective of European defence technology goals: how its technology and partnerships align with EU/NATO priorities (AI and advanced materials), whether it can reduce dependencies on non-allied suppliers, and how it might integrate into European and transatlantic defence ecosystems. The report provides a strategic assessment of Quaisr’s potential role in enhancing EU strategic autonomy, interoperability, deterrence and supply chain resilience.
