Common Handheld Optronic Interface (CHOI) – PESCO 6th Wave

The CHOI project, launched in May 2025 under the EU’s 6th PESCO wave (coordinated by Germany with Germany and the Netherlands as initial members), seeks to standardize the physical and data interface for dismounted soldier optical devices. As described by the PESCO secretariat, CHOI “aims to define a standardised interface on infantry optronic devices (…
